Cookies and storage

Gymyos does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. What it stores in your browser is there so the site and the app work.

1. On the site (gymyos.com)

• gymi_locale: the language you chose. Lasts one year.
• gymi_theme: whether you prefer light or dark mode.
• gymi_country: the country you chose to see prices. Lasts one year.
• gymi.visitor (browser storage): a random number, without your name, to know which page you came from if you later create an account or ask a gym for information.

2. In the app

• Your session, so you are not asked for your password every time.
• Your preferences (language, units, notices you already closed).
• What you log without signal, until it can be sent.

All of this lives on your phone or computer and is deleted when you sign out or clear your browser data.

3. Other services

• When you pay online, Stripe's payment page opens and uses its own cookies to prevent fraud.
• If the "I'm not a robot" box is on, it is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may store data to check that you are a person.
• The site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts.

4. How to delete it

You can delete cookies and storage from your browser settings. The site keeps working; it will only forget your language, theme and country.
